As the Head of Sales Project Management you will become a part of the Offshore Sales Management Team and will become responsible for 8-10 highly skilled and Sales Project Managers. Together with your peer, you will become responsible for the development of customer focused, and competitive Offshore WTG solutions that continue to set new standards in the market. What are my responsibilities? Create and maintain high performance work environment for your team Be senior sparring partner and coach Ensure quality in developed solutions and set ambitious targets Continuously ensure high level project Management of extremely large Sales projects Support development of winning bid strategies and solutions Support your team in difficult contract negotiations Support creation of Project Team culture within and outside the Sales Organization In this position you should expect approx. 30 - 40 travelling days per year. What do I need to qualify for this job? The ideal candidate has gained experience either from very complex large scale project sales or from Project Management of huge complex Execution projects. +10 years relevant experience is required of which at least 5 in managerial positions. You are used to perform in large complex organizations and know what it takes to motivate, design and develop a high performing team – both in line and project organizations. The new Sales Project Management Head is expected to hold a M.Sc. from either technical or financial education, MBA or similar. But most importantly understands both worlds, since Siemens Offshore Turbines are both considered as major investment goods as well as technical products, which makes the sales process quite complex.
