- Research Scientist - Denmark - Måløv The Development Bioanalysis Department is seeking a highly qualified and motivated bioanalysis scientist for a permanent position. You will support the diabetes and obesity portfolio. We are developing, validating and using immunoassays (ELISA, AlphaLISA and MSD) for measurement of drugs and biomarkers in samples from non-clinical and clinical studies. About the department The department is responsible for bioanalysis for non-clinical and clinical safety and efficacy evaluations across the entire project portfolio at Novo Nordisk. We are working in a GLP regulated environment and we use WatsonLIMS for collection of data and reporting. The department is part of the Global Research Unit of Novo Nordisk, and is located in Måløv. We are 60 persons organised in 5 subdepartments/teams. The position Your main focus will be to support the projects with bioanalytical input and data. This includes being responsible scientist when samples from non-clinical studies and clinical trials are analysed. Typically, prior to sample analyses a prototype assay is optimised and validated according to current guidelines. All assay validations and all sample analysis data are summarised in reports fulfilling requirements from the authorities and they are written in English. You will represent the Development Bioanalysis Department in cross-functional project teams and be responsible for collaboration and timely delivery of bioanalytical data and scientific to stakeholders. Communication with the projects is key. You may also be responsible for assays outsourced to contract research organisations and coordinate activities and timelines. Qualifications You hold a life science academic degree and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with development and validation of immunoassays. You have strong written and oral communication skills in English as well as the capability to work in an interdisciplinary environment. You have a quality mindset and preferably experience with working according to EMA/FDA/OECD guidelines. Experience with collaborating with technicians is an advantage. You are flexible, ambitious, focused on results and have a good sense of humour. You are good at communicating and collaborating in teams.
