About the department You will be part of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) with 27 dedicated colleagues divided into three teams. S&OP is part of Supply Chain Planning in Product Supply, which has the central planning responsibilities. The S&OP department has the overall responsibility for capacity planning on a 0-36 months horizon for all production areas in Novo Nordisk. Furthermore we are responsible for supply chain performance management and short term supply risk mitigations in collaboration with both sales regions and production sites. The role as Inter Site Supply Chain Planner is anchored in one of the teams named PS Market Support. The job As Inter Site Supply Chain Planner you will be overall responsible for balancing sales demand between our Diabetes production sites by managing three primary processes: country transfers, bulk shipments and dual source maintenance. You will be working closely with the global capacity planning team, regulatory operations, site planners and sales affiliates to ensure all roles work according to defined standards. You will be responsible for continuously optimizing the processes and keep them up-to-date with our planning systems and standards. In addition you will be responsible for monitoring performance and flag potential issues before they escalate and end up affecting our delivery performance towards the markets. To succeed in this position it is key to build strong relations with a wide range of stakeholders in an international working environment. You have a strong quality mindset and focus on details as all processes are technical by nature and only work according to plan when steps are followed closely within the agreed timelines. Qualifications We expect you to have an education within a relevant discipline e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain Management or several years of experience with closely related processes. Additionally, you have experience within SAP APO and/or SAP ECC and Excel. As a person you have a high level of energy, a positive mind-set and are open towards other people and new ideas. You thrive in a dynamic and international environment with numerous tasks and changing priorities, while staying focused on details and managing strict deadlines. You have excellent process understanding and the ability to work in a structured and independent manner. You must be fluent in English, both written and oral.
