Are you passionate about developing and working with local sales and marketing strategies for new exciting and innovative heat metering products/solutions? Then you could be our new International Business Development Director in Europe. You will be part of a highly respected Company in the heating industry having internationally based colleagues. The position offers flexible location. Business & Sales Development Your main objective is successfully to develop sales of Danfoss’ existing and new exciting and innovative heat metering products within Europe. This in close co-operation with Danfoss’ local sales companies in combination with serving own direct key accounts. Therefore, your key tasks will include: •Qualify the most potential European markets/segments to focus on within heat metering •Together with sales companies, develop successful growth objectives, strategies, and commercial business cases within heat metering for each of selected focus markets •Together with Product Manager, support Danfoss local sales companies in competence building and sales development (customer visits, seminars, trainings, etc.) •Develop and support execution of concrete local action plans aligned with strategies •Develop locally adapted value propositions & concepts •Ensure optimal pricing strategies, project pricing and OEM pricing •Develop and serve own direct key accounts Solid Market Knowledge & Sales Experience Being an experienced Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar, you master strategic sales and marketing tools. Based on customer contact experience, you have a proven track record of business/sales successes working internationally within heat metering (ultrasonic and/or mechanical heat meters) across several European markets. You have expertise within B2B mechanisms; successful experience in working in a matrix organization is a plus. Personal Characteristics You work persistently to achieve your goals, and you possess the cooperation skills to develop solid relations both internally and externally. You have business acumen, a global mindset and you are characterized by drive and a positive energy that rubs off on your environment. Fluency in both written and oral English is required, and good knowledge of German is welcomed as a plus.
