Then we encourage you to read on as we are looking for an Internship to develop a new system. Biopharm New Haemophilia API Mammalian Cell Production is producing haemophilia medicine. The processes involve cultivation, recovery and purification. The department consists of approximately 75 very engaged and dedicated employees. We continuously focus on optimizing our processes and production planning is a key focus area in this process. The job The production plan is very central for the entire department why you will be involved with many stakeholders. In the department, we have both cultivation and purification of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) therefor the production plan needs to cover various processes. We are working in compliance with GMP requirements, therefore all systems are validated and this gives us a number of dependencies that makes production planning complex. Our current system consists of a Gantt diagram on a smart board which is manually updated daily. We imagine that our current system can be optimized so that the system automatically can take into account the plant's many dependencies. The production plan is used daily by many different people so it is important that it is simple and easy to update. Qualifications We are looking for an intern who is passionate about software design, computer science, manufacturing engineering or similar. You are currently studying on your master’s degree in pharmacy, public health, health services research, health economics/economics or other relevant field. Alternatively you have skills in production and digital project planning. You are exploratory and creative while you work structured and independently. It would be an advantage if you have experience using MS Project or equivalent. You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. We also provide you with knowledge about pharmaceutical production in compliance with GMP requirements. Practicalities Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies. Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months. Start date: 01.02.2016 or as soon as possible.
