About the department Joining Scientific Applications, you will have 8 highly skilled colleagues dedicated to bridge life science research and IT by designing, developing and operating specialised computer systems supporting early stages of Novo Nordisk’s drug research across our sites in Denmark, China and the USA. The job Together with the team you will be developing a share point site for internal use and for end-user communication and you will be looking at possibilities for consolidation and expansion of our Jira installation. Further, you will be involved in many aspects of the maintenance cycle of scientific IT systems like patch management, management of build environment, testing, end-user training/communication, etc. All these activities will offer you an excellent opportunity to work with and understand specific applications supporting world class protein research. Qualifications We are looking for an intern who is passionate about development, maintenance and use of IT in its many aspects. You are currently studying your master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other natural science field. Good understanding of the windows environment is required and, some early experience with programming is preferred. We expect candidates to be open-minded, eager to dig into technical issues and motivated by driving maintenance processes. Fluency in English or Danish is required. You take initiative and are results-oriented. You are analytical, structured and comfortable with looking at new technologies. Finally, you are self-dependent and willing to take responsibility for your own learning. Practicalities Qualifications: Students preferable in their second year of their master studies.
