We Offer Maersk Drilling is looking for a Rig Leader to assist with the daily management of rig operation in close cooperation with the Rig Manager, responsible for one our new ultra deep water drill ships. Key Responsibilities As a Rig Leader you will be working in the office and will in collaboration with the Toolpushers onboard be responsible for planning the drilling operations based on the customer’s drilling program. In this regard you will play a key role in maintaining a good relationship with the customer. On a daily basis you will be supporting the drilling crew on the rig and with the help from the Drilling Support Team in Copenhagen assist to solve issues related to drilling and drilling equipment. Further to this, you will be responsible for keeping the Rig Manager up-to-date on all drilling activities. You will be well acquainted with the relevant national and international acts and regulations in respect of the operations of the rig. In your daily work you will pay particular attention to the regulations related to the drilling operations. Finally, you will identify and realize business potential in the contract and be a strong driver on performance optimization. Who we are looking for As a person you are pro-active and strive to deliver high quality of support to the business. You have well-developed analytical skills and like taking initiative in order to ensure constant improvement of our rigs, technical equipment and procedures. You have minimum 6 years of offshore experience including experience as a Senior Toolpusher or Tourpusher. Throughout your career you have developed a strong technical foundation within the offshore drilling / oil industry and preferably you have experience in working on floaters. As you will be operating in a truly international environment, you must be fluent in English. Moreover, you are a good communicator with proven relation-building skills and you thrive in a job where you may encounter changing priorities. You are computer literate and have experience with business administration. Lastly, you are willing to give your wholehearted attention to a job where you undoubtedly will be challenged and benefit from the advantages of working in a large international company.
