Join DONG Energy as Project Manager Lead and become head of a team of 10-15 professional IT project managers. The Projects organisation in DONG Energy IT is responsible for driving projects in IT, which includes project and programme management, test management and portfolio management. DONG Energy IT is responsible for creating and supporting IT solutions throughout the organisation, both in Denmark and the rest of Northern Europe. The function is headed by Michael Moesgaard, CIO, and has 540 employees, located in both Denmark, Poland and Malaysia. We focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based at our office in Nærum. Areas of responsibility As Project Manager Lead, you will be responsible for improving and ensuring a high quality in our IT-related project execution. The project managers are organised in three teams, and these teams are responsible for managing all phases of IT-related projects in close cooperation with business and IT, each focusing on different business or process domains. You will engage in high-level planning of upcoming programmes and projects and be responsible for allocating project managers to projects. Moreover, you will enforce the use of our project model and tools and guide programme and project managers as well as other stakeholders on effective project definition, management and execution. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: • attract, retain and develop the best programme and project managers • ensure that we have the best possible project management capability • coach programme and project managers in issue resolution for challenged projects with relevant stakeholders on all management levels. Your profile You have a relevant master's degree within a technical or commercial field or similar and extensive experience with project management. Moreover, you will have experience from complex IT-related projects. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. Moreover, you have excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to create good relationships with your stakeholders and convey your messages efficiently. Due to the international nature of the department, it is important that you have international experience ensuring that you can communicate at all levels and to all cultures without difficulties. In addition, your experience from political organisations will enable you to manoeuvre smoothly in a complex matrix organisation. You also have experience with managing people ensuring that you can help them deliver high-quality results by motivating and inspiring them to be top performers. Moreover, you are a team player ensuring that the entire department cooperate to achieve your targets.
