We are looking for an IT Category Manager in Corporate Procurement to manage the IT spend including leading negotiations, managing suppliers and working with our global stakeholders. About the department We are 130 employees in Corporate Procurement and together with the global organisation, we manage the total external spend of DKK 25 billion. This position is in the IT Sourcing Team, where we see an increasing demand for our services. We are commercial experts with responsibility for leading the sourcing processes, negotiations and category management. To do this we collaborate with senior stakeholders and their teams across the organisation. We work fact-based, are dedicated to collaborative problem solving and take active leadership for the initiatives we are involved in. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through, e.g., coaching, frequent feedback, formal training and by giving a large responsibility to individuals who can lift it. Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the CFO. The job As IT Category Manager, you will be responsible for contracting of IT projects and for managing several IT spend categories. You will work closely with senior stakeholders on defining their needs, negotiate with and manage the suppliers, and develop and implement IT category strategies. You will reach out to peer companies and suppliers to find business development opportunities and plan how to realise these. All aspects requires your ability to communicate effectively and clearly when collaborating with senior stakeholders across the global organisation. You will typically drive several key projects simultaneously and will have to be well aligned with each of the project teams. You will be part of a strong team with focus on collaboration and personal development. Qualifications You have completed a Master's Degree (in e.g., business administration, law, IT and technology, engineering or supply chain management) with a strong result. You have at least 5 years relevant sourcing or contracting experience. You may have experience from sourcing, selling or project work within IT. You take leadership naturally and have high professional expectations for you and your colleagues. You communicate and sell your ideas effectively and have the ability to work with various stakeholders, colleagues, and suppliers. Finally, you work fluently in English.
