Finance, Global IT, IT Performance Management, Program & Project Management The project management department in Global IT consists of 10 skilled project managers all with several years of experience within project management and two coordinators. The department manages all IT-projects across Vestas and plays an important role in the business case realization within the business. As a project manager you will be teamed up with skilled colleagues and will be able to develop yourselves in various aspects of project management in a multi sourcing environment. Furthermore, you will have the ability to work with IT-Projects in all business areas. Project management in Global IT is based on Prince2, and several years ago Global IT introduced a Project Execution Model that provides processes and guidelines for execution of project. IT- projects are managed in a multi-cultural and multi sourcing environment combined with high complexity and therefore sets strong requirements to the management - and leadership skills of the project manager. Responsibilities: You are a structured, experienced and proactive Project Manager who has been leading on- and offshore teams to successful implementation of IT-solutions for an international organization. As an excellent planner and strong leader you strive to meet deadlines in order to make a powerful impact on delivering excellent IT-solutions in a time cost effective manner. The overall responsibility of the Project Manager is to ensure that project scope is fulfilled within the given time, budget and resource frame. This includes: Organize and facilitate pre-project activities Overall planning and project execution including coordination with all stakeholders internally as well as externally Report to the Steering Committee and manage the scope, cost, time and quality in close cooperation Take the leadership role in the project as well as outside the project Respond proactively to changes and ensure that these are tracked and managed Communication and stakeholder management across a complex organization in a multi sourcing environment Handle risk management ensuring that all obstacles ahead of the project are cleared in due time Ensure that projects are executed in compliance with Vestas Governance and IT Project Execution Model Ensure that the project deliverables meet the quality requirements Follow up on project activities to keep plans on track and work through any potential challenges early-on Ensure day-to-day management across the project and ensure progress according to agreed plans Budget responsibility for internal and external cost and forecasts Securing project execution in compliance with governance, processes and tools Ensure continuous optimization of the project execution including resource management Handle organizational change management related to the projects Project Portfolio master data maintenance in compliance with Governance Support and contribute in the constant strive for project management excellence in the department Qualifications: We are seeking a candidate with min. 5 years of experience within project management and IT-projects delivered and implemented in organizations. It is important that the candidate can show a track record for implementation and organizational change in relation to project management. Relevant degree in Technology, Engineering or Business Administration Experience with offshore IT development center and multi sourcing environment Authorized in Prince 2 and IPMA or other relevant project management certifications Extensive IT project management experience with complex projects from an international company Excellent in stakeholder management and project risk management S
