Are you a structured, experienced and proactive Project Manager who has been leading on- and offshore teams to successful implementation of IT-solutions for an international organisation? Global IT, IT Performance Management, Programme & Project Management Global IT is the business area responsible for all IT within Vestas Wind Systems A/S, and with reference to the Group CFO, Global IT covers everything from business engagement and requirements gathering to project implementations, infrastructure operations, Service Integration between vendors and end user support. The Programme & Project Management Team manages all IT-projects across the Vestas Value Chain and plays an important role in the business case realization within the business. As a project manager you will be teamed up with skilled colleagues with several years of experience and you will be able to develop yourselves in various aspects of project management and have the possibility to work with IT-Projects in all aspects of the business. Responsibilities: You are a structured, experienced and proactive Project Manager who has been leading on- and offshore teams to successful implementation of IT-solutions for an international organisation. As an excellent planner and a strong leader you strive to meet deadlines in order to make a powerful impact on delivering excellent IT-solutions in a timely cost effective manner. Project management includes the following areas of responsibilities: Organize and facilitate pre-project activities Secure execution of IT Projects in accordance with the agreed time schedule, budget and resource frame Budget responsibility for internal and external cost Manage RISKs ensuring that all obstacles ahead of the project are cleared in due time Motivate and lead project teams and secure commitment to plans Responsible for project budget, reporting, progress and stakeholder communication Ensure project execution in compliance with IT Governance and IT Project Execution model Provide organizational change management support to business Report to the Steering Committee and manage the scope, cost, time and quality Ensure project portfolio master data are updated according to governance Contribute in the constant strive for project management excellence in the department Qualifications: Relevant degree in Technology, Engineering or Business Administration Several years of experience as Project Manager with a proven track record Extensive IT project management experience from a larger international company and preferable in a highly sourced environment Excellent in stakeholder management and communication at all levels Solid business understanding and knowledge Strong toolbox and experience with MS Office and MS Project Certified in Prince 2 and IPMA or other relevant project management certifications Fluent in English both orally and written Competencies: The successful candidate is: Reliable, team player and result oriented Analytical, structured and methodological Ability to act in a dynamic work environment Strong collaboration skills Proactive & self-driven Ability to act in a cross cultural and global environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Motivator with positive spirit What we offer: We offer you the opportunity to join Vestas Global IT in a very central role, with touch points to all part of the Global IT organization, Sourcing partners and Business.
