To put it short: Vestas Technology & Service Solutions develops the wind power systems of the future. Control & Auxiliary department is responsible for safety systems and control systems, and additionally for delivering auxiliary power to the entire turbine. The team holds 16 highly skilled employees located in Aarhus, Denmark and Chennai, India. Responsibilities: Your tasks can vary from complex development of new systems and concepts to implementation of improvements of existing products , and your primary tasks will be: Lead technical projects and implementations on assigned projects Plan work package execution together with development team Plan scope and resources with manager Ensure that the technical scope in the projects are fully specified and developed Design and develop the technical solution within quality, time and cost targets of the project Prioritize the technical team’s tasks based on the calculated impact to project targets Identify, document, escalate and mitigate technical risks within the project technical scope and interfacing with the project technical scope Lead technical reviews at component and subsystem level Manage and align project challenges with stakeholders Provide feedback and challenge design solutions to interfacing systems in order to optimize product design Qualifications: You have a technical background as engineer either within electrical or mechanical area, or a Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering Experienced in designing and building electrical systems Experience and knowledge of safety and design standards for MW range power cabinets. Competencies: You are aware of the impact your technical decisions will have on the product throughout its lifetime You have been working with technical project management in your previous positions It's natural for you to knowledge share, lead, guide and advise your colleagues Focus on the project scope and able to understand the impact a scope change will have on the project Process oriented and structured in the way you work Self driven and independent work approach, but also a strong team player and motivator Open-minded and good at sharing and gathering information within team and stakeholders Good communication and presentation skills in English and Danish Flair for and interest in stakeholder management including coordination, planning and reporting Technical leadership, and understanding the business and value chain.
