We are a looking for an experienced Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager to manage the LEGO® Flagship store. This is an opportunity to work as a true ambassador of the LEGO® Brand in a tourist hot spot in Scandinavia. Ensure smooth running of the day to day store operations Your main responsibility will be to manage the store in line with guidelines, policies and processes from the LEGO Group as well as performing duties as required by the District Manager. Your tasks will include: Ensuring that the daily store opening process is carried out according to plan and leading by example to ensure that excellent customer service is provided by the team at all times Recruiting, inducting and training all team members with support from HR, and completing the monthly payroll input process Regularly reviewing business performance, striving to maximise sales potential of the store Managing employee performance and dealing with potential employee relations issues Working with the Merchandising Team and Operations Manager to achieve the correct mix of stock and performing stock planning to ensure a correct stock balance Help inspire the builders of tomorrow Managing the LEGO Flagship store, you will help us achieve our mission of inspiring and developing the builders of tomorrow. Do you have what it takes? The main challenge in this position is managing a team of 15+ sales people and never knowing what the day will bring. So, to be successful in this position, you: Have experience working in a busy, fast paced retail environment as either Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager Have a track record of conducting performance reviews as well as handling discipline and grievance issues Have financial understanding, and knowledge of budgeting, profit & loss statements, scheduling, loss prevention and cash management is an asset Communicate fluently in English Must be outgoing and lead the way as an enthusiastic team leader.
