A vacancy has arisen in Novo Nordisk’s Danish-Norwegian affiliate for a strong and experienced Logistics Specialist reporting to the Business Support Director. About the department The job is located in Novo Nordisk Danish affiliate based in Ørestaden. As Logistics responsible you will be part of on one hand a small team of logistics professionals working in the supply chain area of Novo Nordisk in the Scandinavian countries and on the other hand a team of dedicated colleagues within analysis, controlling and project management, directly supporting the Danish and Norwegian organisation. The job Your main responsibility will be to ensure the uninterrupted supply of Novo Nordisk products within the Danish and Norwegian markets, including the coordination among the various internal and external parts of the supply chain. Your primary focus will be to ensure continuous availability of Novo Nordisk products to from Production, Shipping & Customer Services to our customers and to ensure the supply chain is aware of any forthcoming changes. This includes the operational running of the ordering, invoicing and stock management processes of the Affiliate, as well as continuous improvement of it. You will be responsible for communication of launches, discontinuations & price changes to the supply chain and work tight together with Marketing to ensure product availability at launch and up until discontinuation, or ensuring product availability in our various clinical trials. As Logistics Specialist you will also be responsible for liaising with present and potential distribution-related service providers to ensure co-operative relationships as well as ensuring that distributors operate in accordance with company SOP and GDP, while cost levels remains competitive in the industry. You will be coordinating repackaging activity at third parties and ensuring compliance with internal and external quality requirements. Qualifications We expect you to have a Master’s Degree within a relevant discipline e.g. Engineering, Logistics Management, Business Administration or equivalent, with minimum of 3 years of experience. Additionally, you have gained experience within project management. Technical experience with SAP is an advantage. Personally you are highly engaged and have a positive mind-set. You work independently and enjoy a dynamic environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities, while managing deadlines. You build relationships across cultures as well as get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. You have good communication and coordination skills and are proactive in your daily work. Strong English and Scandinavian skills are required both written and oral.
