As our new Building Management Systems or Mechanical Specialist, you play a key role in making sure our factories worldwide live up to our standards. Thus, you create value by defining and ensuring the implementation of global processes, standards and policies within the areas of technical supply, technical installation, energy set-up and waste management. This position takes you travelling 60-100 days a year, as you: Support local and global project teams in connection with design and optimisation of new building projects Support all sites with knowledge and project support in relation to your area of expertise Participate in projects and collaboration with suppliers and authorities Perform product research to ensure that we have knowledge of technical novelties and improvements, and you make feasibility studies to evaluate compliance with our current set-up Train colleagues in relevant technologies within your area of expertise, as well as audit processes, standards and policies to ensure that they are followed We succeed together You will join our Corporate Facility (CFAC) Specialist Team with offices in Billund and Shanghai. Engineering experience and cross-cultural collaboration skills In this position, no two days will be the same. There will always be something new to research - from solar cells to ground water cooling and beyond. We ensure the best technical solutions. And because we are currently working on large-scale projects, we welcome multiple new colleagues. Thus, you can take on either a Manager Specialist role which requires 6+ years of experience or a junior position which requires 2-3 years of experience - in both cases, you will be challenged according to your skills and expertise. To succeed in either role, you: Hold a degree at minimum Bachelor's level within Utility Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering or similar Have experience with internal engineering from a local design institute or from a Building Management System (BMS) automation company - perhaps you have previously worked with commissioning Have knowledge of local standards and regulations within your specific area of expertise combined with familiarity with international standards and practices in Engineering Design Have an advantage, if you have experience with supply set-up BMS or mechanical (cooling, HVAC, compressed air, water system) installations for international clients Preferably have some experience working across cultures and countries in a global organisation, and you speak and write English effortlessly Bringing it to life "You play a key role in designing and developing future LEGO Factories, while ensuring optimal uptime in our existing production line", says Senior Manager, CFAC Specialist Team, Mikkel Ørum.
