For our Warranty Department we are looking for an overall project manager. The role of the Project Manager in the Warranty Department is to plan, execute and finalize Major Warranty Projects within deadlines and budget by following the Warranty Project Process. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members from the entire organization as well as third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver results according to plan. What are my responsibilities? · Define project scope, goals, risk, budget and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders · Direct and manage project deliverables from beginning to end according to the Warranty Project Process (WPP) · Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path · Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion · Where required negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company · Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders · Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel · Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team · Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have extensive project management experience with large-scale projects, ideally combined with a technical degree and commercial knowledge · As a person you are proactive, persistent and energetic · You have a structured as well as quality-oriented approach to your assignments · You have the drive to continuously create results and innovative solutions · You possess excellent networking skills and the ability to interface at all levels in a dynamic environment · You have excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
