Are you an experienced patent paralegal? Do you want to work for world class wind turbine company? We are looking for a new Patent Paralegal to join our highly skilled team of Patent Attorneys and Patent Paralegals. Group Legal, IP & Contract Review IPR Patents Paralegal As a member of the patent paralegal team in Vestas' Patents Department, your main responsibility is to support the patent attorneys in their overall objective to protect Vestas' IPR and ensure freedom to operate. You will be part of a small, efficient and dedicated team of patent paralegals. Responsibilities: You will be required to work with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility for case management. You will support 2-3 patent attorneys on a daily basis; docketing correspondence, filing applications and meeting deadlines. You will be involved in all phases of the patenting process within a large corporation, and thus liaise with patent offices, patent agencies throughout the world, and Vestas inventors and specialists. There will also be non-patent related tasks that concern, for example, internal reporting. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor in a European language or equivalent. Senior Patent Paralegal, DIFI II exam or the equivalent. Minimum 5 years relevant experience from a similar position Competencies: As our corporate language is English, you need to be fluent in English both orally and in writing. We work in an almost paper-less environment and with a variety of IT systems and webpages. In addition to standard Microsoft Office skills, you are expected to have experience with EPOline, ePCT, IPClient, and knowledge of CMS. Vestas' patent management system is IPMS. Personal skills: You complete your tasks with great accuracy and detail orientation, and you work independently, stay focused and get the job done. Good interpersonal skills; open communication, team player are key words.
