Vattenfall is now looking for a Platform Manager (m/f) for the Offshore Accomodation Platform (OAP) of our DanTysk Offshore Wind Farm. The position is located offshore in the German Exclusive Economic Zone. Your job as Platform Manager •Manager of the OAP with overall responsibility and authority to give directives to all Persons on Board and to vessels in the close vicinity of the OAP •Communication with all relevant onshore units •Overall safety of personnel, environment and assets, related to OAP operations •Ensuring compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, standards and policies on board the OAP, as well as in the close vicinity of the OAP •Ensuring operational readiness of all safety relevant installations, equipment and devices (such as, but not limited to, LSA, firefighting equipment and installations, day and night identification systems, etc.) •Ensuring safe work procedures and compliance with the Permit to Work (PtW) system on board the OAP (overall responsibility for the PtW system) •Ensuring that all relevant (safety) inductions on board the OAP are being carried out and documented in a professional manner •Maritime (nautical) management and logistics, including but not limited to, radio communications with vessels (service vessels, supply vessels, crew transfer vessels, etc.), on-/off-load of waste and supplies (food, materials, bunker, equipment etc.), personnel transfers, maritime surveillance as a back-up •Radio operations in general, as well as communication with onshore organizational units •Reporting system (daily-, weekly-, shift-handover-reports) •Management of the living quarter, as well as the catering and housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of hygiene and catering for all POB •Waste management •Meteorology monitoring Your profile as Platform Manager •Minimum 5 years offshore experience, preferably as a Platform Manager onboard platforms (nautical mate) •Knowledge of vessel operations in the close vicinity of platforms •Good knowledge of applicable rules and regulations, especially regarding safety and environmental topics •Ability to recognize and correctly assess potentially dangerous situations •Ability of correctly assessing and executing tasks •Ability to take responsible decision and give clear instructions in stressful situations, especially in emergency cases •Good knowledge of German and English language, both written and verbal •SAP skills At Vattenfall Wind you will work in a dynamic, professional, international environment with highly skilled and motivated colleagues.
