You will be working in our headquarter in Smoerum – just outside Copenhagen, Denmark. The position is a maternity cover for a minimum of 12 months, starting 1st of January 2016 or ideally before that. You help strengthen the product quality In your new position you will become part of Oticon’s Product reliability team consisting of 6 Engineers working in Smoerum Denmark and 3 Engineers working in Szczecin in Poland. The team performs quality and reliability tests on products according to the requirements set in R&D projects. You will be working closely together with Product Quality Managers to give support to R&D projects, e.g. by reviewing designs, making test plans and testing specific constructions (mechanical, electric and acoustic). You make failure and root cause analysis and carefully document all of you work. When new technologies arise in R&D you also contribute to make completely new test methods. You can look forward to a position with a good mixture of practical tasks and analytical assignments making every day stand out and at the same time developing your professional and personal skills. You can expect a limited amount of travelling days in this position. Experience with product reliability In order to be a success in your new job we expect you to have an educational background on Bachelor or Master level from e.g. Electronics, Mechanics, or Electro-Acoustics. We are open for recently graduated applicants but prefer profiles with 2-5 year’s of experience with product reliability, testing, test case development and analytical tasks- preferably in a business within the area of consumer electronics or medical devices. As a person you are characterized by excellent people and communication skills and this enables you to quickly become a highly appreciated and trustworthy partner – both among you colleagues and the many internal and external stakeholders. You have a unique ability to actively drive work processes forward with great enthusiasm and dedication and possess superb analytical skills enabling you to quickly break down technical issues and processes and to communicate the results in a simple and efficient way. Your are highly structured but at the same time you also have a holistic approach allowing you to rise up above the common practices and seeing things and procedures from a new perspective.
