Are you a skilled Project Manager within IT infrastructure looking to add significant experience to your CV? Here, you will be working with the latest equipment and solutions within the area to ensure stable IT infrastructure 24/7. We provide a broad scope of infrastructure support and services for more than 2500 local and 10.000 global users throughout Maersk Oil. You will join a team of 5 skilled colleagues who work within the department’s area of ensuring state of the art network and connectivity to all of Maersk Oil Danish Business Unit locations. The team also provide support for IT devices and deliver network based services such as WIFI, phone and TV systems. The department is currently undergoing a challenging transition from being a local IT organisation to a global IT organization. This will provide you with many exciting challenges and you will work with very large networks both onshore and offshore. You will have many learning opportunities, ie. to operate and maintain IT infrastructure, as well as work with external contractors and colleagues from across the globe. You refer to the Head of Key Responsibilities Your primary responsibility – and a challenge in this position – will be to manage a dynamic portfolio of IT infrastructure projects, particularly through technical evaluation. This entails: • Ensuring that IT projects are performed in a stable, safe and effective manner • Analysing the proposed designs and securing the right solution is selected • Handling communication packages for offshore rigs • Assisting in developing and deploying new IT services • Managing a number of projects onshore and offshore Finally, you will be helping implement a Governance Framework for IT as we transform from a local to a global organization. This will also be one of your challenging assignments as productivity must be kept at normal levels 24/7 during this phase. Who we are looking for You work in a structured and analytical manner, enabling you to be on top of your assignments at all times, e.g. when various technical offers are delivered, you can choose the best after gaining a profound understanding of each. As a person, you are open with good communication skills. • You have an engineering or technical background • You also need to have technical flair within networks. A Cisco certification is an advantage as is experience with SAP • You speak and write English fluently.
