About the department As a vital business support function, we in Global Engineering Sourcing (GES) execute significant purchases and ensure optimal procurement in large scale capital projects world-wide, every day. We purchase constructions and buildings, critical production equipment and engineering services for more than DKK 3bn annually. The job As Project Manager you will be one-point-of contact and expert for all key processes related to Responsible Sourcing in GES. Gradually, you will furthermore take on the ownership of all key processes we are executing and develop into our true expert in this field. It will therefore require you to obtain a deep understanding of the system and processes used in GES, which include e.g. approval and re-evaluation of suppliers, sustainability assessment, business ethics compliance, commercial contract templates, invoice handling and more. As the owner of these processes, you will ensure timely and compliant execution in collaboration with GES and other relevant stakeholders across the entire organisation. One key aspect of this role is to ensure that processes are optimised continuously and, where relevant, offshored to our capable colleagues in India. You will have full responsibility for offshoring, including monitoring whether progress is according to plan and deliverables are of high quality. In addition, the job will offer the opportunity for continuous learning and further development of your knowledge from a mix of collaboration with greatly experienced colleagues as well as increasing complexity in your tasks. Qualifications You have completed a relevant Master's degree (e.g. in Economics, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management) preferably with top results. You have experience within execution, optimisation, and potentially offshoring, of complex processes – preferably from a complex industry and/or you have an understanding of GMP and the pharmaceutical industry environment. To be successful in this role, you must be able to drive projects and support stakeholders to ensure actions are implemented timely. Therefore, the ability to build and maintain good relations with stakeholders and communicate clearly and effectively is crucial. You are proactive, like to challenge the “current state” and execute on the tasks you take on. You are structured and have a fact-based, analytical approach to decision making. Moreover, you write and speak English fluently and are an experienced user of MS Office. Experience with SAP is a plus.
