Then have a closer look at this unique opportunity to be Vestas' new Sales Performance Manager. Commercial Strategy and Development is a new department reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO). The new department will work closely with Global Sales on commercial matters such as sales pipeline and portfolio planning, CRM, key account management, and pricing. The department is a central function that supports the CSO in managing the global business portfolio. The team will facilitate sales pipeline and portfolio planning as well as the annual commercial strategy process. In addition, the department will act as program office for strategic initiatives within the global sales organization.The team will work closely together with stakeholders in other central functions such as Global Sales, Construction, Supply Chain Planning, Service and Finance, and not least the regional sales business units (SBUs) in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific. Regional SBUs have full profit & loss responsibility and are therefore accountable for turnover and profitability, while global functions focus on deploying best practice, efficiency and performance across regions. Responsibilities: Reporting to Head of Sales Pipeline and Portfolio Management, the Sales Performance Manager will be responsible for on-going monitoring of the CSO area's performance on global sales pipeline KPIs, including development of growth and capacity scenarios. You will also be tracking progress on a portfolio of strategic commercial initiatives such as pricing and key account management programs. In close collaboration with Finance, you are expected to drive the continuous improvement of the reporting set-up for the CSO area. This to ensure efficient and high-quality reporting for the global senior sales management team to base their decisions on. In addition, you are expected to be able to contribute to the commercial strategy process and associated strategic initiatives. Main responsibilities are: Deliver on-going accurate sales performance management reporting and monitoring Provide sales pipeline scenarios with assessment of potential upsides and risks Track performance and progress on a portfolio of strategic commercial initiatives Develop exceptional reports and meeting materials forming the basis of efficient decision making Work to further enhance quality of data and reporting products on a continuous basis Support preparation and follow-up on performance management meetings together with Finance In this role you are expected to be able to navigate across a matrix organization and guide collaboration partners in relevant group functions and regional SBUs in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific Qualifications: Master level degree from business school or university 3-5 years of experience within sales performance management, business intelligence, sales controlling or similar Experience from consulting firm and/or a large international company would be preferred Competencies: To succeed in this role you are: A team player and a high-performing person Detail-oriented with a flair for data accuracy Experienced with data extraction from BI and CRM systems Pragmatic and goal-oriented, but without losing attention to the right details Structured and action-oriented and delivers within deadlines Navigating based on solid business analysis and fact-based insights Confident and robust with ability to build strong relationship with key stakeholders A super user of Excel and PowerPoint As our corporate language is English, you need to be fluent in English both orally and in writing What we offer: We offer you a versatile job in a high-performing and high-paced team in a global environment.
