Then you might be our new Safety Data Analyst in Global Safety IT where we are currently looking for a maternity replacement. About the department Global Safety in Novo Nordisk is globally responsible for safeguarding patient safety and product quality. Within Global Safety you will work in the Global Safety IT department together with 7 other colleagues, in Bagsværd, Denmark. The primary responsibility of the department is to support Global Safety, on data extraction and analysis as well as system management. The Job You will be a crucial player in a multicultural team consisting of colleagues with different educational backgrounds. Typical tasks will be data extraction, using SAS and SQL, from the Oracle based safety database, ongoing systematic data compilation from the Oracle BI platform (OBIEE), and initial review of safety information. This is to develop customised summary reports based on internal and external requirements. Further tasks will be within the area of optimised automated report generation using SAS Enterprise Guide and Data Integration Studio as well as OBIEE. Your responsibilities will allow you to work with a lot of different partners within Global Safety, Quality Assurance, affiliates, external partners and experts. The position gives you an excellent opportunity to continuously develop your existing skills as well as acquire new skills. Qualifications You have a degree in Computer Sciences and/or Life Sciences or similar education. Documented experience from current/former positions within database technologies, programming and other relevant IT technologies. You have an advanced knowledge within relevant technologies and programming languages, e.g. SQL, Business Objects, TOAD, SAS, Oracle Argus Safety, OBIEE. You use Microsoft Excel on an advanced level and are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage. The desired candidate has a global mindset, a structured approach to tasks, can work independently and be pro-active. You are a strong team player, who can also independently take responsibility and finalise assigned tasks. You show commitment, initiative, flexibility, and have a good sense of humour.
