As our new Requirements and Test Manager you will be part of the Hardware team within William Demant’s Hearing Instruments Group. We strive to develop hardware platforms to be used in various products and brands – all with the focus on developing the most efficient way to utilize the R&D team, located on different sites. Your challenge You will be part of the leadership team for architecture, requirements, and test. The team manages the architecture process for new hardware products and drives the requirements process for hardware platforms and test management process towards our hardware milestones. As Requirement and Test manager you will be responsible for the implementation and operation of a new requirements and test management process in the hardware function at our different sites in Copenhagen, Bern and Stettin. You will assist the senior director of Hardware in reaching the strategic goals for increasing efficiency in the group’s multi-brand and multi-site strategy. The main responsibilities will be: Keep a broad overview on the hardware platforms Ensure sufficient stakeholder involvement Establish and communicate requirements and test setup for each new hardware platform Run change management process for requirements in the Hardware Group Establish the link between requirements and test according to V-model Continuous improving best practice of requirements management This managerial position does not cover employee responsibilities. You will create major value by understanding product requirements as defined in product briefs and business plans and transform those into platform requirements. We are looking for your convincing attitude in both the definition phase and when it comes to implementing the process. Ideal background You hold a BSc or an MSc in engineering combined with several years of experience within requirements and test. You are capable of understanding complex systems and strive to communicate this to engineers and project leaders. We expect you to have experience in working with requirements management systems and you are fluent in English since this is the company language.
