Then you may be the Software Project Manager we are looking for to head the development of market leading fitting software for implantable hearing solutions at Oticon Medical. We are a fast growing manufacturer of bone-anchored and cochlear implant hearing systems for children and adults. With a small and agile organization we can act quickly, take the necessary decisions efficiently, and have a close contact to customers and management. Planning and managing software solutions At Oticon Medical we combine more than a century of experience in audiology and sound processing from Oticon with decades of pioneering experience in hearing implant technology. Our connection to Oticon gives us unique access to knowledge, resources and technology that we use for developing innovative and life-changing implantable hearing. In your new job you will become part of Oticon Medical’s R&D organization consisting of 3 development sites; Smørum in Denmark, Gothenburg in Sweden and Sophia-Antipolis on the French Rivera. As Software Project Manager, you will have a close collaboration with all three sites as well as the Fitting Solutions team of Oticon. Your key responsibilities will include: . Project definition, planning & execution - from early concept phase to release for sale . Ensuring that deliveries comply with medical, regulatory and internal quality requirements . Project reporting and milestone reviews according to our quality management system . Delivery and review of software specifications . Ensuring project documentation according to Oticon Medical development model . Pro-active stakeholder management - both to internal and to external partners or subcontractors· This is your chance of becoming involved with a team of highly dedicated individuals and influence processes, product development and the future application of software technologies. Strong development background and great interpersonal skills In order to be able to handle your future challenges, we expect you to hold a Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, and 4-5 years of professional experience. From your previous roles, you have an exceptional understanding of software development, and how to plan, execute and manage software development projects. Additionally, the role requires you to have experience with team management. Experience from working with cross-professional teams across multiple sites and from software development for medical devices will be an advantage. As a person you are characterized by your energetic approach to your tasks and your sociable attitude towards the people around you. You have excellent motivational skills and master the task of creating a great team spirit. You are results driven – and know how to reach them with your team. Furthermore, you have strengths in project planning and work in a very structured manner. You would describe yourself as someone who is visionary and capable of finding workable solutions. Your job will be based at our Danish HQ in Smørum, just outside Copenhagen or in Sophia-Antipolis on the French Riviera.
