Research scientist for Solid Products Development We are looking for a highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic scientist for our Solid Products Development department. We are responsible for development of all solid formulations and formulation processes within Novozymes. Our tasks range from basic formulation technology development, over new products development and optimization projects, to troubleshooting, marketing support and customer-focused collaborations, all founded on our strong product and process know-how, in which innovation plays a central role. The department is located at our headquarters in Bagsværd, north of Copenhagen and consists of 26 highly motivated employees (13 technicians and 13 research scientists). Here we have a state-of-the-art formulation pilot plant and laboratory facilities, where we work with a broad range of granulation, drying, coating and immobilisation processes. Qualifications • You hold a MSc in chemical engineering or similar, potentially combined with a Ph.D. degree, and you probably graduated within the last 5 years • Ideally you have theoretical and/or ‘hands on’ knowledge within e.g. solid product formulation or processes, application of enzymes or product development • You are result-oriented, like working with multiple tasks, show initiative and have personal drive • Ideally you have leadership ambitions and talent • You possess good networking and collaboration skills and thrive in an informal and dynamic (sometimes hectic) environment • You have good communication skills in English, but not necessarily in Danish. However, Non-Danish-speaking applicants should be willing to learn Danish.
