Are you ready to put your business/market/sales development skills to the test in a new and highly competitive environment? And are you passionate about developing and working with local sales and marketing strategies for Danfoss products and solutions within the heat metering segment? Then you could be our new Senior Business Development Manager in Europe. At Danfoss Heating Solutions, you will be part of a highly respected and well-performing Company in the heating industry and have internationally based colleagues. The position offers the successful candidate to be flexible located and you will report directly to the Head of the heat metering business. Business & Sales Development Your main objective is to qualify, select and manage European focus markets for Danfoss growth within heat metering – in close cooperation with local sales companies. This means that you will be responsible for the development and implementation of successful local sales and marketing strategies in order to ensure intended profitable sales growth within selected focus markets. Therefore, your major key tasks will include: • Analyse and qualify/screen the most potential European markets/segments for Danfoss to focus on within heat metering • Develop successful penetration/growth objectives, strategies, and commercial business cases within heat metering for each of selected focus markets • Develop and support execution of concrete local action plans aligned with decided strategies • Catch and forward relevant market trends and new profitable business opportunities • Feedback customer needs/ideas to the Product Portfolio team • Develop locally adapted value propositions & concepts • Ensure optimal pricing strategies, project pricing and OEM pricing • On a selective basis, participate in and support local customer visits, seminars, training and other events accordingly Solid Experience & Market Knowledge Being an experienced Senior Business Development Manager or similar, you master strategic sales and marketing tools. You have a proven track record of substantial business/sales successes working internationally within heat metering across several European markets. Today you could be working within sales, marketing, business development or market development with more than 5 years of expertise on B2B mechanisms – preferably within the climate and energy sector. A commercial education/background – perhaps combined with a technical education – would be a strong asset. You work persistently to achieve your goals, and you possess the cooperation skills to develop solid relations both internally and externally. You have business acumen, a global mindset and you are characterized by drive and a positive energy that rubs off on your environment. As you will work in an international environment, fluency in both written and oral English is required, and good knowledge of German is welcomed as a plus.
