Would you like to be our Senior or Lead Specialist on risk assessment in relation to our wind turbine technology qualification projects? Join DONG Energy and become Senior or Lead Specialist in the Wind Turbines - Risk & Technology Assessment team consisting of technical project managers and risk specialists. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the deliverables within wind turbine technology qualification and supply readiness. The results from our analyses are used for decision making on contracting of new turbine platforms and as input across the business; from project development to operations. Wind Turbines – Risk & Technology Assessment is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key tasks will be to facilitate and participate in HAZID workshops, for example failure mode effects analysis ensure that quantification of risks and failure rate estimations are integrated and managed ensure a high level of quality and clarity in our communication on the risks identified continuously grow the competency level within risk estimation as well as the understanding in our department and peer departments take part in cross-organisational risk assessment initiatives. As our Senior or Lead Specialist in technical risk assessment, you are, together with our discipline specialists, responsible for ensuring that risks identified in our technology qualification projects of new wind turbines are properly estimated and evaluated. Additionally, you are responsible for our processes, tools, and methodologies for the team. Your qualifications and core competences include that you hold a master of science degree in engineering or similar and have experience within technical risk assessments have a strong analytical mind set and are familiar with risk analysis and estimation methodologies, such as Monte Carlo simulations, fault/event trees and reliability analysis have good communication and presentation skills, verbally and in writing, combined with strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to cooperate smoothly with your stakeholders at all organisational levels speak fluent English and are able to navigate in an international environment. Moreover, it will be an advantage if you have knowledge of wind turbine technology and offshore construction projects.
