We are looking for a SharePoint Business Analyst for our team of SharePoint specialists. The team is responsible for ensuring successfull design, development and implementation of our Microsoft applications as well as ensuring optimal utilization of the SharePoint platform in the business through consulting activities. The team plays a central role in the IT service offerings and has a close relationship with both internal and external application development partners. You will be based at our office in Brande, Denmark. What are my responsibilities? • Participate in identifying business demands and take charge of effectively analysing and relating these to SharePoint capabilities in collaboration with the business stakeholders and application architects in order to utilize SharePoint 2013 to its fullest. • Participate in creating, maintaining and enforcing a governance structure for utilization of the SharePoint 2013 platform in cooperation with our infrastructure department, developers and application architects. • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation. • Participate in designing the platform architecture and correct embedding of SharePoint in the individual projects. • Take charge of creating, maintaining and ensuring utilization of Enterprise Taxonomies to support a consistent Information Management across organizations and processes. Do this in collaboration with business stakeholders and application architects and implement using SharePoint 2013 capabilities. • Facilitate collaboration internally in IT as well as between IT and external consultants/vendor in order to maximize use of system capabilities and internal knowledge upgrade. • Coordinate and conduct solution testing (i.e. Projects, Requests for Changes and 3rd level incident handling). • Participate in rolling out of global standards and solutions for SharePoint. • Drive global knowledge sharing activities relating to SharePoint. • Deliver top end consultancy services to the business. • Keeping up to date with SharePoint technology and functionality. What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have an education within IT, Business or similar and several years of practical experience providing business consulting services in relation to SharePoint 2010/2013 • You posses strong ability to transform business requirements into IT solutions as well as has first-hand experience with designing Taxonomies and implementing these in SharePoint 2010/2013 • You have proven skills within documenting customer requirements and system changes. • You have a strong knowledge of the architecture of the SharePoint platform, preferably supported by certifications. • As a person you are extrovert, self-motivated and flexible, and although you are a dedicated team player you also have the ability to work independently. • You are a good listener capable of translating business demands and processes into solutions, and you have a structured and quality-oriented approach to your assignments. • You possess good communication skills as well as excellent English skills, both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
