In Electric Heating Systems (EH) in Danfoss’ Heating Solutions Division (HS) we are looking for a Strategic Purchaser with exhaustive purchasing skills and a solid understanding of project management. Your role will be to ensure our supply flow so we are able to deliver the right product at the right time and at the lowest cost of operations. Furthermore, we will rely on you to ensure fast response when supplier/procurement-related KPIs deviate and to ensure continuous improvement within your own category. You will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager. Focus on stakeholder management and continuous improvement Your mission will be to secure continuously improving results from key suppliers and to develop high performance suppliers. We expect you to use your global approach towards category strategy execution to accomplish this, and to become an expert within your own category. Other areas of responsibility are to: •Identify pipeline and implement projects according to the category strategy and conduct risk assessments •Provide support on business growth or footprint projects and to support category management in selecting and developing suppliers •Implement Danfoss synergy projects (i.e. Full Potential Purchasing) and drive supplier performance and SLA implementation within your own category •Drive or participate in make/buy projects within your own category as well as Kaizen activities such as lead time pilots and other road map activities Proactive, project management and business oriented You hold a relevant BSc combined with experience or you have extensive procurement-related experience from the manufacturing industry combined with project management and continuous improvement experience in complex environments. Preferably you have strong skills within negotiation and management of contract agreements. A large part of your experience is gained in an international company, and you have good analytical skills combined with a basic technical and financial understanding. You are familiar with SAP and related purchasing processes and you are a skilled user of MS Office. You are proactive, committed and supportive and a competent, diplomatic networker who ensures optimal cooperation with all stakeholders. Furthermore, you can cope with many different tasks at the same time and you approach your tasks with great enthusiasm. Last but not least, you are fluent in written and spoken English and Danish.
