Then you could be the System Consultant we are looking for in Danfoss Group IT’s PDM solution supporting the Danfoss Power Electronics (PE) division, which is based on Siemens Teamcenter Enterprise. You will play a central role in developing a system that controls the knowledge of products produced in the business Currently, the team consists of 5 people, dedicated to continuous support, development and improvement of our system. Support, maintenance and development of the future platform As a system consultant you will play an important role in the system development work in the team. Your overall mission will be to further develop our existing PDM platform in tight coordination with the team and the business. Your responsibility will be to develop the PDM system, support and deliver consultancy towards the business in order to align the needs with the technical solution. Your key tasks will both be within architecture, development, consultancy and support: •Developing the needed solutions and reviewing other development tasks within the team (quality assurance) •Achieving in-depth knowledge of the solution’s architecture, insight into business processes/needs and seeing ‘the big picture’ •Supporting the 2nd/3rd level in depth •Providing consultancy towards the business for aligning the needs to the technical solution Technical background and systems acumen You hold a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, are newly graduated or have sound experience with systems and web technologies. Quality is a core focus within our department and our ability to deliver on time will be part of your responsibility. Technologies in use today are Java and object oriented C. The solution is running on Windows and UNIX and is based on the Oracle database and Web platform. The solution integrates with a lot of other systems/solutions like CAD, MS Office and others, used globally in our business. You are expected to master the split between virtual teamwork, coordination and personal assignments within the development area. You have good interpersonal skills as you will be part of our virtual team which has a global focus on delivering both new functionalities, optimisations and running services to our more than 1500 users world wide. Finally, you are fluent in Danish, your English skills are strong and you are able to make your talent count in a global context.
