In support of this we are establishing a new position to drive our current global talent attraction strategy and efforts into the next phase. About the department You will be part of the R&D People and Organisation (P&O) placed in Novo Nordisk headquarters in Bagsværd. R&D P&O supports the global R&D organisation, currently employing 5000+ people of whom the vast majority work in Denmark – and the rest in USA, India and China. Novo Nordisk R&D is responsible for the full R&D value chain across all therapy areas in Novo Nordisk bringing innovative treatments to people with diabetes and other chronic diseases. R&D P&O is covering the full P&O value chain from strategic workforce planning, attraction, recruitment, on-boarding and development. We work as a team to continuously contribute to the ongoing development of people, processes and organisation. The job The job consists of two main areas of responsibility. One is to take the lead in updating, driving and coordinating the global talent attraction strategy for R&D in close collaboration with the many stakeholders who are today contributing to this effort – both inside and outside of P&O. In 2015, we started the journey of improving our ability to conduct true strategic workforce planning to better ensure we are building the right capabilities for the future. This journey will continue in 2016 and beyond, and the global talent strategy should take its startingpoint in the findings in this process. This means that you will play a key role in bringing all contributors together in converting findings from this process into strategy - and strategy into actions. Another task is to take ownership of the R&D Employer Value Proposition to ensure it is constantly updated and fully utilised and build into talent attraction activities and campaigns globally. The R&D Employer Value Proposition was established in 2014 and offers a strong communication platform that we have ensure we get the most out of. You will report directly to the Corporate Vice President of R&D P&O and thus be part of the leadership team in R&D P&O. Qualifications You have 5+ years of proven track record within the area of talent attraction from a global company and/or in a global environment. You have in depth knowledge about talent attraction disciplines, including that of communication. You have documented in the past that you can drive a strategic agenda – and that you can translate strategy into action. You have worked with scientists and/or in an R&D environment and therefore understand the culture and needs in this environment. As a person you are ambitious and take pride in delivering high quality solutions in collaboration with your peers. You know how to do your stakeholder management and you know by experience that co-created solutions equals better and more sustainable solutions. You can handle complexity and understands how to apply simplicity when focus and progress has to be ensured. You are focused on what the needs of the business is because you are a firm believer in delivering results that add value. You are systematic in your approach to work and you thrive with driving change. Preferably we would like you to contain all of the above.
