The Process Engineering department at Siemens Wind Power A/S in Aalborg is currently seeking a Team Leader for a challenging position in the Casting Technology Team in connection with our "Lead Blade Plant" in Aalborg. The Casting Technology Team is responsible for developing new process technologies for future manufacturing of blades and providing support and governance on the existing technology platform to global manufacturing plants. We are looking for a person who has the ambition and skills to further develop and lead this team of dedicated specialists. What are my responsibilities? As Team Leader in the Casting Technology Team, your main responsibilities will include leading and developing this organization for the Process Engineering Department. More specifically, your work assignments will cover: · Being responsible for the organizational set-up, people management and reporting. · Ensuring a high level of competence and adequate capacity within the team. · Managing the process technology portfolio in area of responsibility and being responsible for the follow-up technology portfolio and deliveries. · Being responsible for activity planning and resource planning, and prioritization of development and support tasks. · Facilitating the investigation, development and introduction of new casting technologies to ensure future development and continuous improvement. · Qualification and validation of casting processes, as well as quality assurance of processes. · Managing governance and support from “Blades Technology & Standards Organization” to “Global Blade Plants”. · Coordinating knowledge sharing with internal and external partners and suppliers. What do I need to qualify for this job? You are an experienced manager and have a proven successful track record in creating results with highly skilled and dedicated specialists. You have a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering. Experience in composites processing technologies will be deemed an advantage. As a person, you have a strong drive, can master prioritization, are independent and outgoing, and are able to motivate your team and create a good and inspiring working environment aiming for the highest standard. You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
