Would you like to help us manage the overall technical asset integrity related to electrical assets and SCADA across our Northern European offshore wind portfolio? Join us and become Team Lead of the Electrical and SCADA team in our department Balance of Plant Systems, Global Operations. We are responsible for managing the continuous planning of asset maintenance as well as implementation of asset improvements for the balance of plant assets across our wind farms. Balance of Plant Systems is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at one of our Danish offices in either Gentofte in Greater Copenhagen or in Skærbæk near Fredericia or alternatively at our London office in the United Kingdom on local terms and conditions. However, you should expect some travelling to our offshore wind farm sites in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Team Lead of the Electrical and SCADA team, you will currently be responsible for a team of approximately 6 employees, all highly skilled technical managers and specialists. You will represent the department Balance of Plant Systems and act as the focal point of electrical specialist support and technical management across our operational assets in relation to preventive and corrective maintenance. In addition, you will be managing technical and commercial requests and deliverables towards a range of internal stakeholders. Consequently, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills and work very structured and result-orientated. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: be responsible for technical asset risk management concerning electrical assets and SCADA drive future O&M requirements to be recognised and implemented throughout the asset project phases lead the asset portfolio maintenance in close cooperation with operational HV teams coordinate projects and split of responsibility among the team members ensure that all commercial obligations related to electrical assets are fulfilled towards external partners manage interfaces and optimise cooperation with other operational units, including the wind farm sites to achieve the best results for electrical asset integrity assessment. Your profile You have a Bachelor of Science degree or preferably a Master of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent. This will be supplemented with extensive knowledge of asset integrity maintenance, preferably from an offshore environment. Furthermore, you have relevant experience in project and programme management, including direct reports. It will be beneficial if you have experience from the wind power or oil and gas industry. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you have good English skills and speak and write English fluently. It will also be beneficial if you have good interpersonal skills as you will manoeuvre in many different types of environment with a wide range of different people. You are a dynamic professional, and you are able to find both constructive and practical solutions to all manners of operational and technical challenges. Additionally, you have experience from working in multi-disciplinary teams. You are also a proactive player who thrives on sharing your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues in order to contribute actively to the development and improvements within the field of offshore wind farms and asset integrity management.
