For our offshore process and master data team, we are looking for a Technical Production Assistant to assume responsibility for on-site support at our harbor site in Esbjerg, identify and solve root causes of problems, document and implement cost reduction projects, engineering changes and improvements, and to link communication between the site and our back office/engineering department. What are my responsibilities? As a Technical Production Assistant for offshore process and master data, your main responsibilities will cover: • To identify, address and solve complex production and technical issues at the production site • To identify areas of improvement at the site and documenting potential savings through business cases • To work on optimization projects together with the LEAN department • To improve our production concepts for the pre-assembly of turbines on site • To implement new processes across our value stream • To ensure continuous improvements through lessons learned • To coordinate and implement changes to the product and BoM across customer projects from the engineering department to the site • To report to relevant stakeholders in different areas of the organization • To develop new transport and lifting methods In this position you should expect around 30 days of travel per year. A high degree of outdoor activity will also be involved. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a relevant technical degree at Bachelor level or higher combined with at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within an international organization. You also have a strong technical understanding of assembling concepts and are familiar with production processes. As a person, you are outgoing and very practical minded. You possess good communication skills and are passionate about continuous improvements. Additionally, you are fluent in Danish and English, both orally and in writing, and an experienced user of Microsoft Office and Auto Cad, and have basic knowledge of SAP. If you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
