Do you have experience working with textiles, pattern design and technical design specifications? And would you like to take on a creative role where you help create textile elements for our toys? And would you like to take on a creative role where you help create textile elements for our toys? Join the Textile Team You will be part of our Textile Competence Center within Textile & Projects. We create new textile elements to be used in LEGO Products (capes, skirts, sails etc.), and we cover the entire textile value chain from early idea to launch. You will be based in Billund where you will join a team of 4 dedicated employees, responsible for developing and maintaining the textile portfolio. As Textile Engineer, you will get a unique opportunity to work with designers, apply your creative skills and help make technical documentation and specification for our products. You will get to work on a variety of different projects and help develop the area as well as challenge established processes and ways of thinking. You should expect up to 4-6 travel weeks per year. Help produce new textile designs and products You develop new textile elements in collaboration with the novelty design teams. This entails developing prototypes, serving as a sparring partner for designers and ensuring that all products live up to our quality and price standards - and are delivered within the set timeline. Further, one of your key tasks will be to make technical documentation and specification, preparing the products for mass production. Your main challenge in this position will be to take charge of an A-Z process, guiding our development organisation within textile matters. Textile Professional with excellent people skills As a person, you are good at building relations, collaborating and networking with other people. At the same time, you are an excellent team player capable of handling many projects at once. With your structured approach and creative skills, you are able to drive projects forward, adapting to new possibilities and ideas from designers and business requirements when necessary. You could be a TEKO graduate specialised in Pattern Design, or you could have a similar textile education. You probably have a few years of experience within a related field.
