We are looking for a strong leader for our finance and accounting team in Tinglev, who can deliver quality and timely reports, while being the key contact point to internal and external stakeholders. You will have a broad interface across the organization as the work requires close cooperation with the technical department, our sales organisation, spare parts and logistics as well as other HQ functions in Copenhagen and Tinglev. This means that you will quickly expand your international professional network across functions, borders and businesses. You will head up a small team while we empower you with the tools as a manager. You will work closely with the CFO while taking on significant responsibilities Key Responsibilities As head of Finance and accounting you will be leading a dedicated and experienced team in Tinglev. You and your team will be your responsible for high quality, compliant and timely reporting. You will furthermore support and interact with internal and external stakeholders across the offices in Denmark, China and Chile. You will become a key contact for other functions in Headquarters, our three manufacturing entities, auditors as well as Maersk Group Accounting in Esplanaden. Your key responsibilities are: • Provide clear, updated and relevant management information • Timely reporting of financials and closure of books • Drive commonality and efficiency • Managing day-to-day accounting • Ensure delivery of Finance objectives • Lead and develop team of highly skilled teammates • Engage with CFO Who we are looking for You hold a Diploma / Master´s degree within finance or auditing and have minimum 5 years’ relevant experience from an auditing firm, a production company or similar, preferably from an international company. Not only are you a structured and detail-oriented person with strong analytical skills, you are an experienced and confident people manager. You are used to working independently and have a business-oriented mindset. With the changes that the finance department is undergoing it is important that you are adaptable and have the ability to positively influence your team as the leader. As you will be part of a global organization it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in both written and verbal English. You must be willing to travel domestic and abroad for a shorter or longer duration of time and assist our entities. To apply for this position you must hold a valid Danish work and residence permit.
