The job role as Websphere MQ Administrator is carrying various areas of responsibilities and tasks. The primary task is responsibility of our MQ platform. This responsibility includes system maintenance and upgrades, configuration - and customization tasks, continuous system improvements, project Involvement etc. You will also be acting as 2nd and 3rd level support. We are currently using Websphere MQ version 7.0 and 7.5 Providing and maintaining a stable and mature environment as the key to support business. The overall goal is to have a stable and mature environment. The system is used in the Nordic by the IT organization in Nordea. The overall strategy is to support Nordea Business with IT solutions matching the business needs. MQ system administration experience for Window/Unix The role as Websphere MQ Administrator requires deep knowledge of Websphere MQ platform such as expert-level administration and problem resolution for all components of WebSphere MQ, security aspects related to MQ (OAM, SSL), Analyze architecture and security issues, and perform advanced troubleshooting, understand the complexities of infrastructure design and maintenance, Familiar with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc). Good English language skills are required. (You should be able to work and acquire new knowledge in English). You must be able to work independently, as well as in team. You must also be able to work in a dynamic environment where demands changes based on Business needs across the organization.
