If so, this job as Associate Manager in Pilot Operations could very well be your new job. About the department The position is in Device Manufacturing Development (DMD), a young project organisation comprising more than 250 engaged employees that strive to be the best manufacturing development partner of medical devices. Our dedication is to build superior quality into device products. Our challenge is to execute a portfolio of diverse development projects and bring the devices fast to market. Furthermore, we ensure the product is maintained in its whole life cycle. DMD, Pilot Operations supports all processes in logistics, production, testing, laboratories, statistics, training and quality in developing and maintaining devices. The job As Associate Manager you will be a part of the department Pilot Operations and lead a team of 16 employees during the earliest development stages of new devices. Your core task will be to ensure timely output from prototype equipment with right quality in an environment with changing priorities and demands. You will be responsible for coaching and developing your employees to ensure right competences to meet future demands and projects. You will be an important key player in driving a cLEAN® culture with focus on structured problem solving in collaboration with engineers, technicians and operators. Part of your job will also be to identify technical opportunities and potential improvement areas for equipment to limit waste and improve stability. Qualifications You hold an academic degree in engineering or similar and you have a couple of years’ management experience preferably people management. You are an open-minded person, with cultural awareness and excellent communication skills. You are analytical of nature and able to take a pragmatic approach when needed. You thrive in a dynamic and busy environment with changing priorities and works well under pressure. You must be fluent in English both orally and in writing. As a leader you have the ability to motivate employees with different professional backgrounds and create a joint engagement in fulfilling the tasks at hand and achieving results.
