As Business Process Manager, you step into a major organisation, where your role is to standardise and make a real impact on our future global purchasing processes. You work on a strategic level, build results step by step, and collaborate closely with top management to create value and help colleagues across the organisation succeed. Detailed Description Develop our future purchasing process In this role, you work closely with management to develop and implement our future global purchasing processes. As such, you support our overall supply chain strategy and the Executive Business Process Owner in reducing cost and process complexity. Doing so, you identify tactical and operational areas of improvement within our end-to-end purchasing processes, and you define, initiate, improve and align our purchase to pay processes. You travel up to 40 days a year, and act as a facilitator between IT, business units and supply chain management. Also, you become part of a global Business Process Manager community. More specifically, you: · Translate our purchasing strategy into initiatives and through these develop the right processes and tools · Contribute to simplifying and documenting our purchasing processes end-to-end · Work with our divisions, group functions and top management to recommend, implement, support and measure purchasing processes and standardisation initiatives · Drive the performance development of our procurement processes (flows, rules, roles, and KPI’s) · Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to prioritise purchasing activities and initiatives. Job Requirements Expertise in purchasing standards · You have a strong operational purchasing background and 6+ years of experience with purchasing in an international company. · You hold a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or similar, giving you a strong purchasing and process understanding. · You have probably participated in the roll-out of ERP processes and global standards, and it is a definite plus, if you understand LEAN principles. · You can analyse processes and numerical as well as verbal data and other sources of information, challenge these and break them down into processes, components, parts, patterns and relationships. To succeed, you are able to gather people across departments, competences and geographical locations, to understand and set high standards for quality and quantity. To do so, you know how to secure buy-in, build team spirit, adapt and listen, just as you are no stranger to consulting others and communicating proactively.
