Then you are candidate for our vacant position in Clinical Supplies Business and IT Support (CSBITS). As our new system specialist in CSBITS you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our IT system landscape in CMC Clinical Supplies (CS) and you will be the key person in understanding data and systems for the clinical supply chain. About the department CMC CS is responsible for filling, planning, packing and delivering supplies for the clinical trials in Novo Nordisk. CSBITS is a department of 15 highly skilled people who work across CS. We carry out strategic projects and analysis that aim at increasing the efficiency of the clinical supply chain. We work analytically and data based and support CS Management with high quality decision support and solutions. We are responsible for a number of IT systems e.g. for simulation of clinical trials, handling of production execution and of inventory management or planning of clinical trial activities. The job With a growing R&D pipeline the workload in CS has increased. Our ambition is to improve the use and integration of our IT systems to reduce manual operations and by this to avoid needing manning up in parallel with the increasing workload. To do this we need you to have a deep understanding of our systems, their data and their capabilities enabling us to release the full potential and benefit in optimising our processes. Together with colleagues you will execute projects that improve our IT system landscape. You will work with a large degree of independence and you will be able to influence the solutions that we implement. Furthermore, you will use your strong system and data knowledge to support the business with specialised data request from the systems. During authority inspections, or in case of quality issues, this will be under pressure, with limited time and ultimate demands regarding the quality of the output as patient safety or company reputation can be at stake. Qualifications You hold a master degree in IT, engineering, economics or similar and have several years of experience working with IT and business processes. You have a solid analytical foundation that you apply in your work. You have a strong business understanding and know how to use IT to support business processes. You have the skills, drive and initiative to support getting the data gathered, the presentation made and the job done. This includes a thorough knowledge of Excel, including VBA, and preferably you can also write SQL queries (T-SQL and PL/SQL). You enjoy analysing data and you have the ability to extract the essence from complex datasets and make it presentable. You possess persistence and strong communication skills that ensure the anchoring of your results in the organisation. It is an advantage if you have a background in the pharmaceutical industry and have experience with GxP.
