Global Media Manager is responsible for driving effectiveness, efficiency and innovation in advertising via understanding a fast changing media environment and new media opportunities in respective markets, gathering insights and applying that knowledge to Carlsberg business. Global media manager is part of Communication & Digital team based in Copenhagen, and reports directly to Global Integrated Communication Manager. The role requires thought leadership and the ability to manage numerous cross-functional priorities within high-visibility initiatives. Responsibilities: - Build expertise and step-change on media planning, optimization and measurement across channels, formats and KPIs - Establish strong relations with Carlsberg international marketing community, co-develop and share best practice, knowledge to drive up effectiveness and efficiencies of media. - Turn media data in actionable insights. Research consumer behavior, media habit trends, emerging technologies and leverage insights for the benefit of brands - Collaborate with markets to develop optimal media plans in terms of effectiveness and efficiency - Collaborate with teams to deliver more targeted, more relevant and “data-driven” advertising through data management platforms - Works closely with global brand teams to ensure that all advertising campaigns are taken to the next level through further leveraging digital opportunities - Collaborate with the global media agency on innovative solutions and establishing global partnerships with relevant media partners - Other duties as assigned Your experience: - Min. 3 years’ work experience (agency experience is strongly preferred) - Comprehensive knowledge, skills and experience in digital advertising, media strategy, advertising planning and buying, ad tech industry and FMCG brand marketing - Strong analytical skills and understating of media analytics tools and platforms - Experience with online advertising/media research tools (e.g. ComScore, etc.) and third-party ad servers (DoubleClick, Atlas, etc.) - Very strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Highly collaborative - Ability to focus and follow through on priorities and deliver quality results - An entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning Location: Group Commercial, Carlsberg, Copenhagen Travel: Occasional travel is required Application deadline: Please apply online before 10/06/2016.
