In the Engineering Development Department at Haldor Topsøe A/S, we are looking for a CFD specialist for our CFD group. We are 20 engineers specialized in CFD, Materials Science, FEA and Product Development. We are responsible for development of new proprietary hardware and improvement of existing mechanical solutions to serve with our process portfolio. The department also executes “first of a kind” projects and facilitates the transition from development to market commercialization. A major contribution is also made with respect to trouble shooting assignments and project execution as well as support for other development work run within the whole organization. Your responsibilities The job in the CFD group covers development activities and internal consultancy task within flows related to the design of reactors and other types of advanced equipment. Your group numbers 5 employees who mainly use Ansys CFX to simulate phenomena such as combustion, mixture and dispersion of gasses in geometrically complicated flow zones. We have our own +700 cores HPC cluster and accordingly no. of software licenses. You - Are analytical and curious - Are so experienced with technical theories that you can participate in discussions, which requires input from specialists - Are honest, open-minded and inspired by pursuing ideas of others - Are eager to put forward your own ideas. Qualifications We expect that you have graduated as an engineer specializing in fluid mechanics and that you have experience in CFD simulations. Documented knowledge within one or more fields of fluid mechanics, combustion, two-phase flows and High Performance Computing is considered an advantage.
