We are looking for a new shift leader to join our team at Copenhagen Marriott Hotel. We expect you to be a team player and to take an active part in making a positive difference for both guests and colleagues. Further more we expect you to motivate and lead your team to meet the five star standards, that our guest have come to expect from Marriott. In return, we offer an exciting and challenging job at our beautiful hotel, in the center of Copenhagen.

About the job

As a housekeeping shift leader, you will join a large team in a busy environment in an international hotel. Your job tasks will include:

Leading and managing our housekeeping attendants
Cleaning of corridors, rooms and bathrooms in accordance to Marriott brand standards and checklists
Maintaining cleanliness of storage rooms, floors and linen areas
Ensuring your team meets our high standard of room cleaning
Reporting maintenance issues on a daily basis
Deliver "Lost and Found" items on a daily basis
Performing other ad hoc tasks that might follow

The working hours are 24 hrs/week primarily between 09.00-22.00 during the week Monday to Sunday. If you wish, it will be possible to get more hours.

About you

Professional skills

A minimum of 1 years experience from a similar position
Experience with working in large multicultural teams
Proven sense of quality and detail orientation
You have a service minded approach
You speak English - Danish is a plus, but not a must

Personal skills

A presentable, positive and accommodating behavior
A smiling and outgoing attitude
