About the department Data Management Operations is a department of approximately 40 talented and highly experienced data managers who manage the set-up and integration of the various systems we use for collecting clinical trial data. We work closely with broad range of internal as well as external stakeholders and service providers. The department is located in one of our office buildings in Søborg, but in our daily work we are in contact with colleagues across the globe. The Data Management Operations department has a great working environment with a strong focus on diversity, cooperation and personal development. The job You will take part in a global collaboration with other data managers as well as being an integral part of the clinical trial teams. Furthermore you will join a small group of Data Managers working with safety data ie. Event adjudication data, Data Monitoring Committee data and classification of different types of data. Our activities are spread across the various phases of our clinical trials, and so we contribute to the data management deliverables during the start-up, conduct and closure of the clinical trials. In Data Management Operations the data manager is primarily responsible for the coordination and timely set-up of our clinical data management systems in accordance with industry- and company standards. Novo Nordisk offers treatment to patients across different therapeutic areas, which is reflected in the variety of clinical trials we conduct. Hence, a talent developing new solutions within a complex and very regulated environment is needed. This requires a sound understanding of IT systems and working with complex processes. We aim to deliver data in the highest possible quality to our stakeholders and our results are normally achieved through collaboration in global teams. The job of a data manager therefore requires strong project management skills. Our stakeholders are depending on our ability to manage complex and critical communication in a timely fashion. Qualifications You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within IT, natural sciences or other relevant degree and preferably extensive knowledge and experience from the Pharma industry and GCP knowledge. You have excellent overview, presentation and coordination skills. Furthermore, good English skills, thorough and detail oriented, strong cooperation and analytical skills are a necessity. You are capable of working independently, take on responsibility and show initiative. We expect you to be able to overview several tasks in parallel without compromising the quality of your work and that you remain high spirited, also when things are moving fast. Relevant experience in dealing with clinical data domains in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
