Then you should apply for the position as Senior Test Engineer and play your part in improving the lives of people living with diabetes worldwide. About the department Device Manufacturing Development (DMD), situated in Hillerød, is a project organisation comprising more than 250 engaged employees. We collaborate with Device R&D to create robust devices. We develop simple & robust processes to ensure high quality, low cost and short lead time and we continuously improve products and processes in collaboration with our stakeholders worldwide. The position is a part of the “laboratory support and statistics” team in Hillerød, and is anchored in the Pilot Operations team, that handles all operational activities of pilot and low volume devices related to purchase, planning, quality control and metrology, production as well as pack and delivery. You will join 13 new colleagues, including Technicians, Engineers and specialists, who are dedicated to deliver test documentation that, ensures the authorities’ approvals of assembled Devices. The job As Senior Test Engineer, your main task consists in developing and writing protocols and clarification tests as well as reports, for authority approval of products, before they are launched to market, as well as for marketed products subjected to changes or problem solving. It is your job to translate the product requirements into verification tests, just as you forward ideas on improving the way we work and implement the initiatives accordingly. Naturally, you focus on ensuring that we deliver tests of the right quality and in due time. Together with our other test engineer, you also play a central role in the team regarding test requirements. You provide guidance and professional sparring to the testers and collaborate closely with the test coordinators. This position gives you a unique opportunity to work with a broad range of stakeholders from e.g. Regulatory Affairs, QA and R&D functions. You can also anticipate a dynamic role, with a variety of tasks and the chance to set your mark on the test team. Qualifications Your background covers a degree in Engineering or similar, combined with experience within test standards and equipment. It is essential that you possess knowledge of the authorities’ regulations to development documentation of medical devices or similarly regulated products or industries As a person, we expect you to have strong analytical skills, a good eye for details, without losing the overview, and a strong quality mindset. You are known for your positive and proactive approach towards challenges. As the position involves navigating in an international and dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities, we expect you to have solid interpersonal skills. Furthermore, you are keen on communicating with and motivating colleagues towards realising the shared objectives.
