About the department DM Operations is seeking a Dept. Assistant to support our busy and dynamic unit. The DM Operations unit is responsible for ensuring data collection and handling of all our clinical trial activity at Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, we are responsible for the documentation and verification of our clinical trials throughout the course of an individual trial life-cycle. We work in a highly regulated environment where strict adherence to timelines and internal and external guidelines is essential. DM Operations is situated in Søborg and currently employees 39 Trial Data Managers. The unit is comprised of four departments and two specialist functions with people from many different nationalities. We work together in a pleasant and collaborative atmosphere. The job The job covers a broad range of tasks and responsibilities. You will be responsible for coordinating assisting busy department managers with various activities at department level. Further you will be supporting the managers with processes such as recruitment, booking of travel and settling of travel expenses. Purchasing, planning of events, meetings and courses will all be other elements of the role. Finally, you will be responsible for general administrative support to employees in the departments covering approximately 46 employees. Qualifications You are a team player, responsible and have an eye on the details. You take initiative and like new challenges. You can handle simultaneous tasks and are able to complete them, even when you are busy. You are engaged, positive and willing to actively contribute to the operation of the two departments. You have some years of experience from a similar position. You are an experienced IT user, familiar with the Office-package and therefore fully versed in Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and preferably also have some knowledge of working with SAP.
