Then you may be the person we are looking for to take up our vacant position as a senior system manager in Clinical Operations, Global Development. In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. About the department The department is a part of Clinical Systems Management, which manages the clinical systems used for collecting and processing data in our clinical trials. We are responsible for providing functional support to users, development of business processes and IT systems, and cooperating with external vendors. We work closely with different professionals in the organisation, both within Denmark and in our affiliates worldwide. We are nine dedicated employees in the department, who are responsible for supporting clinical IT systems. In addition to supporting our existing systems, we provide input to new IT solutions and participate in/manage IT projects. The job We are seeking a new colleague to take up a position as senior system manager, responsible for ensuring some of our smaller business critical IT systems/tools are in compliance with internal and external requirements for IT systems. As part of the job, you must work with line of business and our quality department, to determine what documentation is relevant for each of these systems, and help develop a framework for how we will document smaller IT systems in Global Development. As a senior system manager, you will be given the system management responsibility for a number core IT systems, but you will also be asked to support other system managers in their role. Qualifications Most likely you have a Computer Science Master, Bachelor degree or comparable degree in a computer-related field. Knowledge of quality control and testing of IT, to comply with internal and external requirements and Good Clinical Practice is a benefit. Preferably, you have previous experience with system management for IT systems, within an operational role from daily second line support to system governance, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, experience with running projects and driving task implementation will be an advantage. As a person, you are flexible, logical and efficient. We expect you to be capable of working independently, taking responsibility and showing initiative. You have attention to detail and you are able to overview several challenging tasks in parallel without compromising on the quality of your work.
