- Biostatistics and Data Management - Denmark - Søborg Would you like to be responsible for implementation of Risk Based Monitoring (RBM) in Novo Nordisk? We are establishing a new Centralised Monitoring Unit (CMU) which will drive the global implementation of RBM while ensuring compliance with the new regulatory requirements. In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. About the department The CMU unit will be anchored in Clinical Systems & Data Management (CS&DM) which today consists of approximately 130 highly skilled people based in Denmark. We are responsible for providing data management expertise and resources to clinical development projects and for our global clinical IT systems. We work closely with all other skill areas in Global Development, i.e. Trial Management, Clinical Pharmacology, Biostatistics, Medical & Science as well as with the global Clinical, Medical & Regulatory (CMR) organisation. The job The new Director of CMU will be responsible for establishing the new CMU department with a team of experts who in close collaboration with a global virtual team will be driving the implementation of RBM in Novo Nordisk. You will be working closely with the development projects, the international study groups, the CMR organisation, and our organisation in Global Development Global Service Center (GD GSC) in India. Building and maintaining good business and working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is essential in the management role. As Director of CMU, you will report to the VP of CS&DM and you will be a member of the CS&DM’s management team. We expect you to take part in the continued development and innovation of the CS&DM area as a good and challenging place to work. Qualifications You have a master’s degree in natural sciences. Additionally, you have a thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical business, a proven track record in managing cross-functional and international teams, and extensive experience from working with clinical development. The position requires ability to communicate with senior management as well as understand and communicate with a broad number of internal and external stakeholders. Flexibility in communication style as well as the ability to impact others beyond own area is of great importance.
