Group Consolidation Group Consolidation is a part of Group Finance within Carlsberg Breweries A/S. Group Consolidation is responsible for ensuring timely and valid financial records to both Group Management and to the management of business functions, regions and subsidiaries. Group Finance Group Finance comprises around 50 highly qualified and specialised employees. We supervise the financial reporting and accounting of all companies in the Carlsberg Group and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as well as management accounts. Group Finance is also acting as the back office for Group Treasury. Furthermore, we are a knowledge centre for accounting and in this capacity solves a number of ad-hoc tasks for the Group’s companies and is an active sparring partner for both subsidiaries and the other functions in Group Headquarters. The position As a graduate in Group Consolidation you are offered a development position in Group Finance. You will get the opportunity to work in an international environment, both with external stakeholders from subsidiaries around the world and internal ones in Group Finance. You will be an important resource for the Group within the areas of financial systems and consolidation, and you are a part of a dynamic, young and professional team. You will report to the Group Consolidation Director and work closely together with the other Group Consolidation Controllers, teams in Group Finance and colleagues in Carlsberg Breweries. Your working day is independent and challenging and you have a broad array of work assignments ranging from recurring tasks in monthly & quarterly closings to a number of projects and ad hoc tasks, including areas such as: • Consolidation, of Carlsberg Group financials for internal and external reporting purposes • Comprehensive analysis of reported figures to ensure correct consolidation • Participation in the preparation of Group financial statements, including reconciliations/specifications, documentation for auditors, compilation of notes for the Annual Report • Elimination of Group internal transactions, acquisitions etc, and ensuring correct treatment in close cooperation with functional controllers. • Communication with subsidiaries and other headquarter functions through the consolidation process, e.g. in relation to reporting of mergers/demergers, sub-consolidations and supporting of functional business needs • Development of the Hyperion platform and standard reports to support needs from Financial and functional departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive external and internal reporting • End user support and user training within the consolidation area and financial systems usage • Participation in Group projects The duration of the graduate program is two years, split in 18-20 months within the team in Copenhagen and 4-6 months as a secondment to one of the Carlsberg subsidiaries or regional headquarters.
